How it works
- 1Connect the SICH device to your computer with a USB-C cable.
- 2Choose your device model below.
- 3Click "Flash" and select the serial port in the browser prompt.
- 4Keep the cable connected until installation completes.
Not detected?
If your board doesn't appear in the port list, hold the BOOT button while plugging in the cable (or while clicking Flash), then release it.
What SICH firmware can do
v1.0.0Version 1.0.0 packs a complete off-grid toolkit into a single device — mesh messaging, navigation, voice and full connectivity.
Communication & Mesh
Long-range LoRa mesh, compatible with the Meshtastic ecosystem.
- LoRa radio on the Semtech SX1262 (E22-900M30S front-end)
- Receives Meshtastic text messages
- Rebroadcasts as a repeater, with implicit delivery ACK for broadcasts
- Compatibility profiles: SICH, Meshtastic, MeshCore, Reticulum
- Tunable radio: frequency 850–930 MHz, spreading factor, bandwidth, TX power −9…+22 dBm
- Heard-nodes list with ID, last-seen and RSSI
Navigation & Time
Know where you are and keep accurate time, fully offline.
- u-blox M10 GPS with AGPS warm-start
- Live GPS clock (Kyiv timezone), 12/24-hour
- QMC5883L digital compass
Audio
Capture and play back voice directly on the device.
- Voice recording via an INMP441 microphone
- Playback through a MAX98357A amplifier and speaker
