Why SICH Exists
The idea behind SICH was born while analyzing events that occurred in Ukraine during recent years.
Those events demonstrated how important independent communication systems can be when mobile networks, internet access or critical infrastructure become unavailable.
SICH is being created as a Ukrainian technology initiative focused on providing reliable communication capabilities for civilians, volunteers, technical communities and anyone who may need resilient communication during difficult situations.
The goal is simple: Build a communication device that combines essential technologies into a single autonomous unit and continues evolving based on real user needs.

Meet SICH
SICH is an independent communication device developed by BFU Electronics. Created to provide resilient communication for families, communities, volunteers and everyday users without relying on traditional infrastructure. Built around simplicity, reliability and independence, SICH is designed to help people stay connected when conventional communication networks are unavailable.
Operation
Fully off-grid
Network
Self-healing mesh
Security
End-to-end
Internet
Not required
When the grid goes silent
Traditional communication depends on fragile, centralized infrastructure. When it fails, you are cut off.
No Mobile Signal
Cell towers have limited range and collapse under overload or damage.
No Internet
Backbone outages and blackouts sever connectivity instantly.
Infrastructure Failure
Disasters, emergencies and power loss disable centralized networks.
Remote Locations
Mountains, seas and wilderness lie far beyond any coverage map.
Everything you need to stay connected. One device.
SICH brings together essential communication capabilities in a single autonomous device. Each feature is designed to work independently and together, creating a resilient communication network.
Voice Communication
Clear push-to-talk communication between devices.
01Digital Messaging
Encrypted text messages across the mesh network.
02Emergency SOS
Priority distress broadcast to all nearby devices.
03Location Sharing
Share your position directly between devices.
04Secure Communication
End-to-end encryption by default, always.
05Messages travel through the mesh
Each device is a node. Data hops from one node to the next until it reaches its destination — no central server, no single point of failure.
Radio mesh communication
SICH uses low-power radio communication and mesh networking to allow devices to exchange messages directly. Each device can relay information to nearby devices, creating an autonomous communication network without relying on mobile operators, internet providers or centralized infrastructure.
Built for those who need reliable communication
Emergency Response Teams
Coordinate rescue operations when cellular networks are overloaded or damaged.
Volunteer Organizations
Maintain communication in disaster zones without depending on infrastructure.
Families
Stay connected during emergencies and infrastructure outages.
Remote Communities
Stay connected in areas beyond traditional coverage maps.
Local Communities
Build independent communication networks for neighborhoods and towns.
Preparedness Networks
Build resilient local communication networks before emergencies occur.
Beyond traditional communication
Traditional Communication
- Depends on cell towers
- Requires internet backbone
